Cloud Computing's Green Credentials

I created this talk using Prezi - it was my first Prezi talk so be gentle!!! The original Prezi version is available at http://prezi.com/a6m9zmxukean/cloud-computings-green-credentials/ Cloud Computing is the new hotness. Everyone is touting it's energy efficiency and Green-ness - but just how Green is Cloud Computing actually? Cloud providers are not publishing their energy consumption data (Watts/Compute Cycle) so it is impossible to say whether cloud computing is energy efficient, or not. Green is a whole other issue - until cloud providers are powering their DC's with renewable resources, they will not be Green.
