What is Cloud
Computing?
Cloud computing means using the
internet to store and use files, apps,
and data. You don't need to install
anything.
Why is it
called 'Cloud'?
• The word cloud is just a symbol
for the internet. It means your
data is stored on big computers in
other places.
How Cloud
Works
You use your phone or computer to
connect to the internet. Then you
can open apps, files, or games from
the cloud.
Types of Cloud 1. Public Cloud: Used by anyone (like
Google Drive).
2. Private Cloud: Used by one
company only.
3. Hybrid Cloud: Mix of both.
Cloud Services 1. IaaS – Get computers and storage
(like renting)
2. PaaS – Tools to build apps
3. SaaS – Ready-made apps (like
Gmail)
Benefits of
Cloud
 Saves money
 Easy to use and grow
 Works from anywhere
 No need for big hardware
 Good for backup
Problems of
Cloud
 Needs internet
 Can be hacked if not secure
 Less control over data
 Some legal rules must be
followed
Where’s Cloud
Used?
 Schools – For online classes
 Hospitals – To store reports
 Businesses – For managing data
 Entertainment – Like Netflix
Conclusion Cloud computing makes life easier.
It's used everywhere. It is the future
of technology. We all should learn it.
