CLEAN was created in 2014 to serve as a nationwide platform for addressing common needs in the distributed renewable energy (DRE) sector. It aims to support, unify, and grow the sector by acting as a go-to industry entity and creating inspiring models. CLEAN is a membership-based, technology-agnostic network that engages in policy advocacy, facilitates access to finance, and provides skills training, technology linkages, and networking opportunities for its members. Since launching, CLEAN has represented the sector in important policy discussions, conducted studies on financing needs, and organized flagship events. It currently has 115 members working in solar, bioenergy, wind, and pico hydro across India.

2. GENESIS
Clean Energy Access Network (CLEAN) launched in 2014 meets the
need for a COUNTRYWIDE PLATFORM to address common
needs of practitioners in DRE SECTOR.
Why was CLEAN created?
