The class activity involves learning about Texas State University-San Marcos using collegeboard.com and memory. There will also be a practice ACT session, lunch, campus tour of San Marcos, and parent sessions during a College of the Day event in November. Another College of the Day event is planned for March. Students will also take a class picture and create College Forward email addresses. There is a volunteer opportunity this Saturday to clean up East Metro Park and translate at the College Forward office. Students should create accounts on CollegeGreenLight.com to search for scholarships, selecting College Forward as their organization. An example resume is also provided, with tips on what to include.
