This document contains photos from Wayang Wong performances in Java between 1930-1937. Wayang Wong is a type of Indonesian dance drama that retells stories from Hindu epics like the Ramayana. The photos show scenes from performances as well as portraits of the actors. They provide a glimpse into an important Indonesian performing art tradition from the early 20th century.
