How can the spaces attract people from different backgrounds to feel more connected? How can the spaces help people develop & test activities that are rooted in the strengths & needs of neighbourhood? How can the spaces encourage organisations to collaborate around common causes and create social value for the neighbourhood?
Urbanium is a space without having an exact appearance being at the core of one’s being, feeling just right and leaving possibilities for development and exploration. A space not restricted to a specific name, like the study room, the office, the restaurant, but being associated with - not pinned to - concepts as alive, whole, comfortable, free, egoless, eternal - words derived from Thomas Alexander’s mind shared in his book ‘The Timeless Way of Building'.

The Power of Community Engagement_ Transforming Lives and Neighborhoods by Fr...Frederik Durda
Community engagement is a powerful tool for transforming lives and neighborhoods. By creating a sense of belonging, amplifying voices, improving public services, fostering social capital, encouraging active citizenship, enhancing resilience, and promoting sustainable practices, community engagement lays the foundation for a vibrant and resilient community where everyone can thrive.
This work presents a collection of ‘ethical by design’ principles for considering ethical aspects in the design and implementation of technology-based products and services. It is a work-in-progress describing the need for new, innovative concepts and approaches in ethical design-based thinking. The work argues that design thinking should and can be ‘ethical by design’; that designs should strive to go beyond the ethical guidelines that are set by regulatory bodies and other such governance. This manifesto of ‘ethical by design’ principles is intended to support developers, providers, and users in the collaborative process of inherently and explicitly including ethics into product and service design.

Welcome to the Program Your Destiny course. In this course, we will be learning the technology of personal transformation, neuroassociative conditioning (NAC) as pioneered by Tony Robbins. NAC is used to deprogram negative neuroassociations that are causing approach avoidance and instead reprogram yourself with positive neuroassociations that lead to being approach automatic. In doing so, you change your destiny, moving towards unlocking the hypersocial self within, the true self free from fear and operating from a place of personal power and love.
2. Introduction:
•Civic sense is a broader term that
encompasses respect for the law and
community dealing. It also focuses on
etiquette and fundamental human manners
that can make our daily interactions more
respectful and trustworthy.
3. Promotion of Social Harmony
•Civic sense serves as the cornerstone of
social harmony. When individuals
exhibit awareness and consideration for
the needs and rights of others, it creates
an environment of mutual respect.
4. Forming Positive Public Places
• Civic sense does not come from high-rise buildings,
shopping malls or Broadway, it comes from
responsible citizens.
• Public places are shared by diverse groups of people,
and civic sense plays a crucial role in maintaining
these spaces for the benefit of all.
5. Promoting Environmental Responsibility
•Civic sense extends beyond human
interactions to include our relationship with
the environment. Responsible waste
disposal, conservation of resources, and
sustainable practices are integral
components of civic-minded behavior.
6. Enhancing Quality of Life
•A society that values civic sense is inherently
more pleasant to live in. Caring behavior at
public places, adherence to noise regulations, and
respect for the rights of others contribute to an
environment where individuals feel safe, valued,
and supported.
7. Building a Sense of Community
•Civic sense strengthens the bonds of
community. When individuals prioritize the
collective good over individual interests, it
nurtures a sense of belonging and shared
responsibility.
8. Teaching Future Generations
•The importance of civic sense goes beyond
the present generation. It serves as a design
for future generations, imparting values of
respect, responsibility, and empathy.
9. What we can do
• Help the needy, save water, plant more trees, park at
the right place, keep parks clean, use public facilities
with care even when no one is watching, abide by
traffic rules, avoid underage driving, cooperate with
community administration.
10. Conclusion:
•In the fast-growing complex of society, civic
sense is the golden thread that weaves
individuals into a harmonious and
blossoming community.
