To whom it may concern:
Robeson Marketing & Design was hired to help us build a strong brand and a powerful
community engagement campaign to increase recycling in the City of Cincinnati. The
campaign needed to be customizable and easily reproducible across many economically
and geographically diverse neighborhoods throughout the City. In addition, to keep
costs down, the campaign needed to bring together and leverage a diverse set of
stakeholders including non-profits, businesses, volunteers, local government, and key
influencers in the community. The Robeson team was able to listen intently to our
challenges, research the approaches taken by other cities and then bring their own
creative ideas to the table.
Robeson, unlike any agency we have worked with in the past, has had the unique ability
to truly build community engagement across a diverse set of organizations and
individuals. Their plan leveraged traditional, digital and social media in a highly strategic
manner. The initiative thus far has been very successful and I look forward to working
with Robeson on executing the campaign in additional communities across the City.
Throughout the process of building the campaign, Robeson has been willing to work
evenings and weekends doing whatever was needed to ensure the success of our
efforts. Their attention to detail ensured that all key stakeholders were engaged and
leveraged effectively on an ongoing basis. The response from the community has been
tremendous, with residents and businesses actually contacting us to see how they could
get involved. We anticipate that this campaign will be a model for other cities
throughout the country that are trying to build community engagement.
