Hobbs+Black Architects completed its work as Architect of Record for the City Creek redevelopment project in Salt Lake City, Utah. The project included a 700,000 square foot retail center with nearly 100 stores and restaurants, as well as luxury apartments and offices. Developed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Taubman Centers, City Creek Center is distinguished by landscaping including a recreated creek and waterfalls. It held its grand opening on March 22, 2012 and received LEED Silver certification for neighborhood development.

City Creek Center is the retail centerpiece of the development. It is distinguished by a recreated creek and waterfalls, two restored historic facades, and fully retractable skylights that cover the shopping center in inclement weather. The project was awarded LEED Silver certification for Neighborhood Development.
Riverview House is located on the corner of Flinders and Elizabeth Streets, a major transport node in the heart of Melbourne CBD where trams, trains and pedestrians intersect. The site has the potential to become a multi-layered vertical city that is a ‘City within a City’.
