This document provides a lesson plan on using past and present forms of the verb "to be" in English. The goal is for students to know how to use the past forms "was" and "were" and the present forms "is" and "are". It is meant for teachers of Secondary (IX & X) Classes and can be helpful for teachers of Upper Primary (Vi-VIII).
Presentation done 3/18/03 for Annual Conference for New Jersey Council for Exceptional Children. This brief workshop focuses on how to teach core content areas (reading, writing, math, etc) to student with autism spectrum disorders.
This experience was very rewarding, I do hope to be able to plan my next lesson with them using the computer lab so that I can promote ICT in the classroom.
