After registering with Facebook, you create
your profile. Your profile contains personal info
including your name, email, gender, age, etc.
You also upload a photo to coincide with your
profile.

You send a request to a user to join their
network of friends and in turn they join yours.
4. Second-Level Contacts
Part of the significance of social networking
sites is building out from your core set of
friends. With Facebook you can see your
friends' friends and then add them to your
friend list.
5. Status Messages
Displays a current location, activity or thought
so that contacts will know what the user is
doing.
