Statutory Minimum Wages for Employees of Maharashtra State in

(f) Plastics (g) Cloth Dyeing and Cloth Printing (h) Glass Bulb
(i) Construction or maintenance of Road or in Building (j) Public Motor Transport
For the period 1 January 2014 to 30 June 2014
The Competent Authority under the Minimum Wages Act, Mumbai (Dy Commissioners of Labour)
has declared special allowance payable to the employees in the above employment for a period of
6 months from 1 January 2014 to 30 June 2014. The details are given below:
(a)
Engineering Industry
For the period, 1 January 2014 to 30 June 2014, the special allowance is Rs 2898.70 per
month for zones I, II and III.
The minimum basic rates of wages for Zones I to III are given below for information of

Canteens and Clubs
The special allowance payable to employees in Canteens and Clubs for all the zones for
