Les clivages des opinions entre générations s’accentuent tandis que le soutien à des mesures sociétales et d’inclusion en faveur des LGBT+ notamment transgenres continue de s’effriter.
2. MY CHILDHOOD
Early on, I decided to live in nature, so I broke from society and lived in the wild. It
was going great, but after a while I felt too much like a hippie with my hair growing
way too long, and feeling a bit dirty. I just didn’t look as cute as I remembered…
Not only that. While I never bothered anybody, some large animal actually
attacked me and bit me all over. So I decided it was time to see if I could find
some people I could use to make a transition.
3. BACK TO CIVILIZATION
So I stopped by this house where the food looked good and the folks looked
friendly.
I have been here for a couple of weeks, and it has been pretty good. I visited the
doctor a few times. My wounds have healed, and I am starting to feeI great. Did I
mention I also got a haircut?
Anyway, I did make one little mistake. Even though I like the
folks I am with now, they already have a lot of animals. I think
I should be looking for a smaller pack.
This is where you might get in the picture. Read my plan on
the next pages:
4. MY PLAN
I am taking applications from families that meet my
needs. If you qualify, you could be the lucky winner of
my company for years to come. This is what it will take
for us to get along:
• The folks I live with now kept mentioning that I should be “house-trained”. Turns
out this was a silly name, since they really meant that I should take my personal
business outside. I kind of like that, so I expect you to continue letting me stay
clean by taking me outside when I need to.
• Even though I am about a year old and therefore a grown-up, I also know you
don’t ask a lady her age. Therefore, I can get away with being playful as I was
as a puppy. So I expect you to have a little energy to play with me.
• I love toys. These folks have so many toys, so it was hard to find a favorite. So I
just play with all the toys. I have trained the people to throw them around for
me, but they are so lazy I have to keep bringing them back to them to throw
the toys again. Oh well; I am OK with that. It is still fun for me.
5. MY PLAN…CONTINUED
• I know I am a lot younger, but I just couldn’t stand seeing the folks sitting
around. Therefore, I bring them to the park for a little exercise. I put a leash in
their hand and we walk. It has not been necessary to correct the humans with
the leash, because they behave when walking. Maybe that is because I am
very patient and walk at whatever speed they want to. Can you behave when
I walk you in the park?
• When I am done walking the humans, I like to take them home and snuggle. It
is really nice to have them pet me and cuddle up with me. Can you do that?
• When the humans that I live with trimmed my hair, they started calling me
“Cinderella”. They did not know my previous name. But that is OK. I like my
new name. I heard one them say that I looked and behaved like a little sweet
princess. Are you worthy of a princess?
• The other animals in the house like me. Probably because I am never
aggressive. I don’t even chase the cats. That is just not lady like. Are you a
nice and calm human? If so, I bet we will get along.
