Description of Achievement
In 2016, S&P Global Corporate Responsibility held its third annual Community Impact Month
(CIM), a global employee volunteer initiative serving the communities in which we live, work and
serve globally. While the aim of CIM is to make a positive impact in our communities, our em-
ployees and the Company also benefit, from team-building and boosting morale to offering lead-
ership opportunities and skills-building. CIM also increases S&P Global’s reputation in our local
communities. Each CIM Team Leader was responsible for identifying a local nonprofit partner
and coordinating the logistics of their volunteer project while building excitement within their of-
fices and recruiting employees to participate. They were also responsible for organizing, execut-
ing and measuring the outcomes of their project.
Thank you message from Stacey Queroli
This year, we had more volunteers, more projects, new countries, new cities, and more nonprofit
partners than ever. Team Leaders across all divisions and regions recruited nearly 6,000 col-
leagues to participate in over 250 volunteer projects in 22 countries and 40 cities. Team Leaders
acted as ambassadors, both internally and externally, working hard and dedicating their time and
effort to promote S&P Global’s commitment to make a positive difference in communities where
we live and work.
