Christopher Ma is a senior at the University of Maryland majoring in biochemistry with a 3.892 GPA. He has held several leadership roles including president of the American Chemical Society Student Affiliates Chapter where he planned events and tutoring programs. Ma has also served on the University Student Judiciary Appellate Board reviewing academic dishonesty cases. For research, he investigates glycosynthase mutants and their roles in glycopeptide synthesis in one lab and assesses citrus oil components on bacteria in another lab.
