1) The document discusses the concept of Christian monotheism and provides numerous biblical passages that affirm there is only one God.
2) The passages reference God as the one true God and savior, with no other gods existing before or after.
3) Jesus is also referenced as the "mighty God" and the embodiment of God manifest in the flesh.
You won't hear much about the holiness of God in today's culture, but you can be sure that God is working to build His holiness in you, at just about any cost! Contrary to our culture's message, holiness and long-term happiness are vitally linked! Becoming holy is difficult, but it helps when we get a fresh glimpse of the holiness of God, which we'll do this week in Isaiah.
In Part-1 we make an initial examination of the holiness of God. What is holiness? We emphasize that a correct revelation of His nature, will evoke the right response from us toward God and draw us to the place where His nature is reproduced in us and revealed through us.
Isaiah said that all our righteousness is like filthy (menstrual) rags. Good for nothing, trash, throw it away! I have no gift to bring to God. What could I bring Him that would matter? Only my life, soul and spirit and that is only because Jesus died for me. I will not glory in my righteousness - only in the cross of Jesus!

Like us all, David wondered why God cared about him. We are merely ants compared to God but he cares about us. it makes us confront our unworthiness and acknowledge God's grace and kindness. Then to imagine that as unworthy as we are, God can and does use us in His service.

The Glory of the Lord in The Sanctuary Episode 7 Sonship of Christ.pptxJackieSparrow3
POWER AND EXTENT OF THE PRIESTHOOD
What has just been said is emphasised by the scripture which tells us the
power by which Christ is priest. It is "the power of an endless life." Heb. vii. 25. It
is the power of eternity in all its breadth, as well as in its length. By Himself Christ
has purged sins. Heb. i. 3. He is a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true
tabernacle which the Lord pitched, and not man, in that He ministers His sinless,
eternal life to sinners condemned to death.
Now from His first "goings forth," "from the days of eternity," Christ has been
ministering life. It was "through the eternal Spirit that He offered Himself without
spot to God." Heb. ix. 14. Thus He has a priesthood extending from eternity to eternity-"an unchangeable priesthood" because "He ever liveth." Because He
was priest by virtue of the endless life that He had, He would offer Himself to God
for our sins. But in doing this, no new power was brought into existence, no new
office was devised. When sin entered, the priestly office and power to cope with it
were already there by virtue of Christ's endless life. The new conditions did not
surprise the Lord, nor find Him unprepared for them. No tax was made upon his resources. Here was a dam by which Satan thought to stop the flow of the river
of life; but that mighty stream rolls on in its majestic course, sweeping away
every obstacle, and swallowing it up. No new fountain had to be opened, to
increase its volume; for the fountain of living waters is He who fills heaven and
earth and is from everlasting to everlasting, inhabiting eternity.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
