shipping history and an epoch-making event in the oceanization of

The Yangtze River has been nurturing Chinese civilization for more
than five thousand years. The Yangtze Three Gorges display the beauty
of the oriental landscape. It is the best place to explore nature, to revel

With the construction of the Great Dam of the Three Gorges, the
torrential rapis and the dangerous shoals once common in this region
disappeared. The great lake created by the dam not only preserves
the magnificent scenery but also displays more scenic areas. In
September of 2006, with the development of western China and
the Three Gorges Reservoir Area (commissioned by the Chongqing
Municipal Government, led by the State Asset Regulatory Commission
of Chongqing), the Chongqing Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. (Group)
was officially established. The Chongqing Tourism Investment Group
specialized in investment, planning, construction, operation and
management of important tourism resources in Chongqing. In March
2010, the Chongqing Communications and Tourism Cruises Co.,Ltd,
a subsidiary company of the Chongqing Tourism Investment Co., Ltd.
(Group) was formed. It is primarily responsible for the investment in,
construction, operation, and management of Yangtze cruises. Planning
to build 10 “Yangtze Gold” series luxury cruise ships, the company
decided to develop a high-class cruise market in the Yangtze Three
Gorges RiverValley.
Yangtze Gold series vessels are the largest super 5 star luxury
cruises of the world’s inland rivers. They sail from Chongqing to
Yichang, Wuhan, Nanjing and Shanghai respectively. 1.96-32. 2
meters wide. 136-153.8 meters long, with a gross tonnage of 14-23
thousand and total area of 15.2-23.5 thousand square meters, each 45
cruise is designed to carry 350-700 passengers. All these cruises are
