This document provides an overview of the China: Dialogue of Civilizations Summer II program. The 7-week program includes: 1) A pre-dialogue trip to Taipei and Hong Kong. 2) Studying for 2 weeks at Yunnan University in Kunming, including language classes, cultural classes, and language partners. 3) Weekend trips during the program to places like Lijiang and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. 4) A post-dialogue trip visiting cities like Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuxi, Hangzhou and Suzhou.

7. Weekend Trips
2 Days in LiJiang at 5 Star Sina Hotel
+ Visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and
speak with Naxi people.
Experience the Dongba culture

an incredible elevation of 3100 metres.
Director Zhang Yimou used over 100
horses and employed 500 local minority
people selected from 16 different towns
and villages.

was selected from 10 different ethnic
Chinese minorities as the show itself is a
celebration of minority culture in the
area, portray the life of the Naxi and
Mosuo minority people.
