OBJECTIVE
 The main objective is to help parents to
locate their child in a easy manner.
INTRODUCTION
 The motivation for this
topic comes from the
increasing need for the
safety of little children
getting lost in the major
crowded areas
EXISTING SYSTEM
 There are many wearable devices which are used to locate the children only through WIFI
and Bluetooth.
 This system is very unreliable source to transfer information.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
• To overcome the drawback of existing system this is implemented using SMS as the mode
of communication.
• In this the parent send the SMS to know the location of the child.
OVERVIEW
CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
GSM MODULE
• GSM is a standard developed by the ETSI to describe protocols for second generation digital
cellular network used by phones.
• GSM modem can accept any GSM network operator SIM card and act just like a mobile phone with its
own unique number.
SOS LIGHT
• SOS stands for Survival Signal Light.
• SOS is known for the sign of help.
• It is used to simplify and standardize communications.
• The purpose of this light is to able to alert the people nearby that the child might be
in distress since the light will be flashing.
GPS LOCATION SENSOR
• The location sensor object is used to communicate with the global positioning satellite receiver in
phone.
• When the location sensor communicates with the built in GPS receiver it can determine the
location of your device.
TEMPARATURE SENSOR
• This give an output proportional to temperature.
• Most temperature sensors are positive coefficient, meaning that the sensor output goes up as the
temperature goes up.
• Some temperature sensors have a negative coefficient, meaning that the sensor output goes down as
the temperature goes up.
UV SENSOR
• It is used to detect the intensity of incident ultraviolet radiation.
• Skin cancer in now a days become an increasing human health issue. Toreduce this skin cancer
we use this sensor.
ALARM BUZZER
• When a child is separated from the parent then the parent can locate their child by sounding a very loud alarm.
WORKING
• Parent sends an SMS using some keywords such as TEMPARATURE, LOCATION, SOS, BUZZ etc;
• This results in knowing the location of their child.
RESULTS
• Staying Connected
• DataAccuracy
• Efficiency
• It can be used in any cell phone and doesn’t necessarily require an expensive smart phone
ADVANTAGES
DISADVANTAGES
• High Cost but once it is implemented the expenses can be reduced
• Battery
FUTURE SCOPE
• Camera module
• Apps
• The child safety wearable device is capable of acting as a smart IoT device.
• It provides parents with the real-time location, surrounding temperature, UV radiation index and
SOS light for their child’s surroundings.
• It is capable of holding the battery for a longer time.
CONCLUSION
