Created by Group 15 B
Introduction
• We are going to develop an App or Website.
• The purpose of developing the Chatbot is
that it will help for a faster communication,
cost saving, etc.
History of
ChatBot
• Chatbotsare not a recentdevelopment.Theyare simulationswhichcan
understandhumanlanguage,processit andinteractback withhumans
whileperformingspecifictasks.For ex,a chatbotcan be employedas
helpdeskexecutive.
• The first chatbot was created by Joseph Wiesenbaum in
1966, named Eliza.
• In 1966 a computer program called ELIZA was invented by
Weizenbaum. It imitated the language of a psychotherapist from only
200 lines of code.t
Advantages
Chatbots can be used to improve internal
communication and processes within the
company.
1. Faster internal processes
2.Cost savings
One of the benefits of chatbot is that they can take over a lot of
boring, repetitive tasks that are currently performed by customer
support staff.
3. 24-hour availability
According to studies, over 50% of customers expect a business to be
available 24/7.
Limitation of
chatbot
The first limitation is the response limit. Since it has limited scope to the
questions you ask and may sometimes not be able to assist you at all.
You can ask one question at a time.
• limited responce
• limited queries can be asked
Language used
• Java or
Python
Architecture of Chatbot
Future scope
• Text-to-speech and voice-to-text are essential features in the future
of chatbots. While AI will take over more tasks, freeing up staff to
work with high-touch customers
• It will also save companies money through customer service, and internal
processes. There is much potential to incorporate chatbots throughout a
company’s website, app, and social media platforms.
