This document discusses the Curzon Memories App project led by Dr. Charlotte Crofts. The app allows users to access memories and stories related to historic cinemas in Bristol, England through interactive maps, audio recordings, and images. It aims to bring cinema heritage to life using pervasive and locative media. Future developments could include portable projection technology to recreate "lost cinemas", comparative mapping of other cities' cinema histories, and integrating user-contributed content and memories. The goal is to experiment with new forms of spatially-informed and socially-enabled digital storytelling.
