1) Brothers Jimmy and Jonathan find a magic medallion that supposedly grants wishes. Jimmy makes a flippant wish for £1 million as a joke. 2) The next day, their father dies in a work accident. As promised by the medallion, the brothers inherit £1 million from their father's life insurance. 3) Grieving and confused, Jimmy makes another wish using the medallion to bring his father back, which summons some unearthly presence. Jonathan makes a counter-wish to make it go away.

1. Be careful what you wish for
-A sunny summer afternoon in Kensington
James (A middle aged single man with two children Jimmy
and Jonathan both 18year old twins) is in his back garden
reading a book on a bench. Until he hears a loud sound
behind her, he turns around to see an old medallion on the
floor. He picks it up and walks back inside his house to show
his two children.
JAMES
Guys look I found this in the back garden. It looks like its
from the war!
(James gives the medallion to his son Jimmy)
JIMMY
(Looking at the medallion)
Whats this?
(Jimmy turns over the medallion, engraved on the back of it
says the words ‘Three wishes’.)
Three wishes?! Dad its like a genie!!
JAMES
Don’t be silly
JIMMY
No Dad look!

2. (Showing the back of the medallion to James)
(Enters the second son Jonathan)
JONATHAN
Righty right whats that Jimmy?
JIMMY
Its a magic medallion that grants us three wishes!
JAMES
Right, enough, pass it here!
JIMMY
But dad wait wait, lets at least try make a wish!
JONATHAN
(Laughing)
Go on dad, let him it cant do any harm.
(James sigh’s and nods saying Jimmy can)
JIMMY
Well… what do I wish for?! To be famous? For billions of
pounds?
JONATHAN
(Laughing)
Go on Jim be sensible
JIMMY
Well Dad does work an awful lot, so maybe if i wish for a bit
of free money you could take it easy!

3. JAMES
Jesus Jimmy, I make enough common!
JIMMY
But your never here thats the problem!
JONATHEN
Go on then Jimmy!
JIMMY
I.. I..I wish for a million pounds!
(The room goes silent for a split second, until James breaks
the silence by laughing)
JAMES
Right now give it here
(James snatches the medallion off Jimmy and throws it on
top of the fire mantle)
(Jimmy stands there in disappointment)
JOHNATHAN
(now feeling bad for his younger brother)
Common Jim lets get a pint!
(They all exit the living room, Jonathan turns back to look at
the medallion sitting on top of the fire mental before shutting
the living room door).
-The following morning 8:30am Jimmy and Jonathan are
having breakfast. James is getting ready for work.

4. JAMES
(James walks into the kitchen to his sons)
Im heading of to work now, but i want you to know I know its
been tough not having a mother and all. But I'm so proud of
you two.
JIMMY
Thanks Dad, see you at 7!
JOHNATHAN
Bye dad
(James walks to the front door and exits)
(James and Jonathan have there breakfast then head to
college. They both arrive back from college the time is now
5:30PM. The door bell rings.)
JIMMY
(Turns to Jonathan and says)
Dads back from work early?
JOHNATHAN
(Jonathan looking confused)
Hold on let me check
(walks towards the front door)

5. (Jonathan opens the front door, standing there is His fathers
boss ‘Mr Harmon’ a man dressed in black.
JOHNATHAN
Mr Harmon? We weren't expecting you? Is Dad working late
tonight or something?
MR HARMON
Jonathan were is Jimmy? There is something I need to tell
you both.
(Jimmy curiously listening, runs towards the front door to
find out whats going on)
JIMMY
Mr Harmon?!
MR HARMON
Boys, I'm so sorry but your father has been involved in a
terrible accident. He got caught in one of the machines at
the construction sight. We rushed him to hospital, and…im
sorry…he didn't make it.
(Jimmy starts to tear and yell as he falls to his knees.
Jonathan goes to comfort his younger brother)
I know this will never help, but by law I have to tell you both,
your fathers insurance money will be settled this week. You
should be expecting a million pounds. Im so sorry.
(Jimmy and Jonathan stop crying and stare at each other.)

6. JIMMY
(Slowly whispers)
A million pounds..
(The front door then closes shut)
-It is now 2am, Jonathan and Jimmy are finally in bed after a
very long afternoon. Jonathan is in his room fast asleep.
Jimmy however is laying in his bed wide awake. Jimmy
slowly creeps out of bed and goes straight to the living
room. He sees the medallion above the fire place and picks
it up.
JIMMY
You son of a bitch you killed my father now your going to
bring him back!!
(Jimmy thinks for a second)
I wish for my dad back!!
(Lighting strikes, and thunder begins to be heard. Then loud
banging on the front door begins to occur. Jimmy drops the
medallion on the floor and runs to the front door)
Dad!! Im coming dad hold on! Hold on!!
(Jimmy begins to un bolt the door. The banging becomes
louder and a strange sort of un human says “OPEN”)

7. JOHNATHAN
(Instantly wakes up and jumps out of bed and runs to the
living room. He sees the medallion on the floor, then looks at
Jimmy at the front door. He instantly realises what is going
on.)
Jimmy no thats no thats not Dad out there stop!!
(Jonathan tries to stop Jimmy from opening the door, but
Jimmy pushes him off.)
JIMMY
(Yelling)
I don't care what you say I'm seeing Dad again!
(Jimmy carries on un bolting the locks, he has one last lock
to open now)
JOHNATHAN
(Realising that nothing willy stop Jimmy, he picks up the
medallion of the floor and yells)
Whatever is outside the front door I wish for it to go away!!!
(The banging instantly stops)
JIMMY
(Finally opens the door)
DAD!?

8. (nothing is outside the front door. He falls onto his knees
and starts to sob)
No No No… you bastard!!
(Jonathan drops the medallion on the floor and goes to
comfort Jimmy.)
JOHNATHAN
Im so sorry Jimmy, but that was not our Dad.
(The camera shows the medallion on the floor, then pans
over to Jimmy and Jonathan. Then the camera pans back to
the medallion on the floor but the medallion is gone.)
