I have known Alan in a professional capacity for around 20 years. I first engaged with
him through his role as Hospital Pharmaceutical Representative with BMS. He quickly
established a good rapport with me and the acute cardiology staff, providing
professional and credible support aligned to his specialism. Alan was always very
responsive to our requests for information and facilitated many Continuous
Professional Development events that significantly enhanced staff skills.
Alan has always made it his business to undertake extensive research into his
product and the related specialism. He is a very intelligent and vigilant professional.
He was a key player in assisting with the acute Cardiology prescribing algorithm that
aligned Lipostat as the first line statin. He helped dispel misconceptions around the
agent by providing unbiased, credible and evidence based input.
I am happy to be approached for further reference around Alan’s suitability. I am in
no doubt that he would be a tremendous asset to any Pharmaceutical Sales
organization that has a requirement for a key interface between product and clinical
