1. How to Charge your Joye510 Battery The following slides will show you how to properly connect and charge your Joye 510 battery using the included wall charger. Let’s examine each part before connecting.

2. The Joye 510 Battery This is the black manual Joye 510 battery. It is rated as a 3.7Vdc device and can provide up to 180ma of current. Average charge life per battery depends on an individuals use, but from my personal experience it ranges anywhere from 3 to 4 hours. I’m a heavy vaporer. Notice the location of the ON/OFF switch. By pressing and holding down the button, recommended no more than 5 seconds, will supply continuous power to your atomizer and does not have a safety cutoff. 3. The Joye 510 Battery Before you charge your battery. Inspect and clean off the top contacts as needed. A Q-tip works great or a twisted up paper towel end will do the trick nicely. A clean connection will allow for better operation of your electronic cigarette. Clean

5. The Joye 510 Charger End This is a view from the end of the Joye 510 charger. Before screwing your battery into the charger, inspect and clean as necessary. A Q-tip will fit inside nicely. Clean

6. Attaching your Joye Battery to your 510 Charger When you first plug your charger into a wall outlet, verify power by the lit green LED on top of the charger. Insert the battery into the end of the 510 battery charger and screw into using a clockwise motion until nicely snug (do not over tighten). Once you have inserted your battery, pay attention to the LED on the charger and the end of your 510 battery. The end of your battery will flash appx. 5 times then go off. This is to let you know that it has a good connection and sees the charger. The LED on the charger will turn a solid red (Next Slide). This is to let you know that your battery is now charging. LED

7. A Joye 510 Battery being charged Now we have your battery in charge mode in this picture. Joye recommends for your first charge: 8 hours on each battery, even after LED turns green Use for 20 minutes Recharge for another hour Pay attention to your LED when charging, you will see an intermittent flicker of the LED every 5 to 6 seconds. This is perfectly normal during the charging process. Once charged, the charger LED will again turn a solid green.
