The document profiles the main characters of the short film "Serum". Jason Wayne is the nerdy 20-year old protagonist who transforms after using the serum to search for his missing father Marcus. Carlisle Jacobson, a short mid-30s man, is the main antagonist who kidnaps Marcus to obtain the serum. Marcus is the middle-aged father who was the last known user of the serum. Carlisle has two henchmen who interrogate Marcus and later face off against Jason. Clark Grayson, Marcus' best friend, helps Jason by giving him the serum and information about his father's location.

1. Character Profiling
Protagonist: Jason Wayne
He is the protagonist of my 5 minute short film Serum. For the first half of the movie,
Jason is shown as an unconfident and nerdy 20 year old who has no idea what to do when
his father Marcus goes missing. The second half of the movie shows his transformation
into a completely opposite individuals owing to his use of the serum.
Antagonist: Carlisle Jacobson
Serving as the major antagonist of the movie, Carlisle is a short man in his mid 30's. His
main motivation is to get a hold of the serum which is why he kidnaps the last known
owner of the serum. This man as it turns out to be is none other than Jason's father
Marcus Wayne.

2. Father: Marcus Wayne
Serving as the father of the protagonist, the middle aged Marcus plays a major role in the
movie. His role is pivotal to the movie because he is the last known user of the serum and
is kidnapped by Carlisle to get a hold of the serum.
Henchmen
Carlisle has two henchmen, one of whom appears in the first scene and is interrogating
Marcus. Both of them are young men. They both appear in the final scene of the movie
and face off against Jason.
Father's Friend: Clark Grayson
As the best friend of the protagonist's father, Clark plays a pivotal role in the movie as he
is the medium through which Jason receives the Serum and he is the one who tells Jason
about his father Marcus' location.
