2. NATURE’S
BEAUTY
Nature has been
greatly admired for
its beauty, in the
recent years we have
seen an increase in
destruction of this
beautiful nature due
to man’s
interference.
3. One thing that we should look out for are catastrophic
disasters such as Typoons, earth quakes and floods.
Other disaster may include increase in diseases in
tropical areas, downfall of economies and famine.
4. Today oceans may
seem calm, but in a
few years to come we
are likely to face
disasters such as
typhoons.
5. LOSS OF
VEGETATION
Because of
deforestation we are
loosing lots and lots
of productive land,
trees are cut down
for timber
production, this in
turn creates a desert
and led's to
extinction of certain
plant species.
7. LOSS OF SPECIES
Due to unbearable
conditions some
animals are on the
verge of extinction.
8. Due to unbearable weather conditions, man will
eventually become unproductive which in turn will led
to collapse of economies.

10. 1. In order to prepare and prevent some of these
disasters, certain measures have to be
implemented, one might ask what are these
measures being talked about????
11. To prepare or prevent these disasters, measures such
as licensing tree cutting must be implemented by
government. Encouraging creation of green conservation
clubs in schools and communities so as to help sensitise.
Holding conferences and workshops must be
undertaken so as to incise more people on becoming
environmentally aware, encouraging the use of energy saving
bulbs must be undertaken so as to reduce carbon emission.
In flood areas people must be taught how to make
floating agricultural beds and construction of floating
schools, encouraging use of solar energy must be emphasised
on. Discouraging the use of charcoal and encouraging use
briquettes.
12. Humanity has been adapting more or less successfully
to climate change ever since Homo sapiens evolved. But our
transformation of the environment we live in is now coming
back to haunt us.
Man-made climate change is rapidly increasing
temperatures and sea levels, altering rainfall patterns and
producing more violent conditions. Dealing with this will
depend on our adaptive capacity. Adaptive capacity involves a
complex combination of
knowledge,institutions,technology,and money.Smallsteps by
many people will change the world and protect the planet.
Let us cycle or use public transport when travelling, carry
canvas bags when going for shopping and only buy food that
will be eaten, inorder to prevent food mile.
13. Its my world, your world and together we say its our
home, lets take keen interest in preserving mother nature.
