CHAARG is hosting a new member beach workout event on October 10th at Grand Haven State Park beach. CHAARG stands for Changing Health, Attitudes + Actions to Recreate Girls and aims to help college-aged women maintain a healthy lifestyle. The event is meant to interest potential new members at Grand Valley State University in joining the organization by showing them a fun workout. Promotional strategies for the event include setting up an information table on campus, handing out and posting flyers, using sidewalk chalk advertisements, having members wear event t-shirts, creating a Twitter account, and placing an ad in the student newspaper.
