With its other name, hair transportation, is a process of transporting the

11. Things should be paid attention before
hair transplantation
• Do not use ASPIRIN or other anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprofen, ecopirin,
alka seltzer etc.) two weeks before the operation. Do not use ALCOHOL
three days before the operation. Inform your doctor about drugs that you
are using for chronic (diabetes, heart, blood pressure, tuberculosis, etc.) or
acute diseases. Do not use tricycle antidepressants, clotting preventing
drugs (heparin Coumadin etc.) beta blockers and moa inhibitors (aurorix
etc.) two weeks before the operation. Inform your doctor if you used one
of those drugs in the given time period. Do not apply any local medicine
around your scalp or hair before the operation. Wash your hair before
you’re coming in for the operation and do not use any hair gel or spray
after washing it. Have a breakfast certainly before coming in for the
operation. If your operation is afternoon, you should have a light lunch.
You must certainly bring a hat with you which can be loosen and fastened
from its back part, to wear after the operation. Do not smoke for 24 hours
after the operation if possible. If you can't manage, try to reduce number
of smokes. Don't forget that smoking will extend the healing period and
increase the risk of infection and scar.

12. Things should be paid attention after Hair
Transplantation
How you feel after the operation
depends on the type and range of the
approach taken. Any forms of pain and
discomfort can be taken under control
by painkillers.
If bandage is applied, it will usually
removed the day after. You will start
washing your hair 2-3 days after the
operation and you will continue to
wash as instructed until your stitches
are removed. Stitches are usually
removed after 15th day of the
operation.

13. Recovery Time
A diminutive incrustation is being formed on
the transplantation area after the operation,
and this will fall in one week period (Advanced
FUE techniques don’t cause incrustation as
dense as FUT technique). After the operation
and diminutive incrustation has fallen of, living
hair roots will make a small growth and there
will be no scar or rash even in early periods,
since thick canal opener generated cuts in FUT
technique are not used. This way, even in the
early periods, even they show signs of short
growth, the view formed by the current roots
makes the patient confident and happy. But
the real and permanent growth only begins
after the 4th month. The growth in the early
periods as thin strands turns into the desired
