cause inconveniences to commuters every single
day, but also poses real and dangerous risks to
the city’s large stray dog population.
This beautiful fawn-colored dog was a victim
of road rage when she was hit by a speeding
car when she was barely a 2-month old pup.
She checked into CUPA’s shelters with
multiple fractures in one of her fore legs,
leaving doctors with no choice but to
amputate the limb.
Poppins is still learning how to walk as a
tripawd and sometimes tumbles over when she
forgets that she has only three legs. She is
likely to remain a shelter dog for the rest of
her life.
CUPA performs several such surgeries every
day, alleviating animals from pain and suffering
in the best and most practical manner.
