Over 34 months from 2010 to 2012, the Cumbria Equality and Diversity Partnership engaged in extensive community development work through 3 community development workers and 3 host organizations. They engaged over 25 BME groups, 12 LGBT groups, and 13 disability groups as well as 247 mainstream organizations. During this time, they held 62 trainings, hosted 148 events, supported 23 funding applications worth £529,000, mediated 8 conflicts, reported 558 hate crimes, wrote 19 press releases and 60 newsletters, designed 68 publicity materials, wrote 46 reports, and made 3,739 database entries while developing dozens of partnerships and hundreds of friends.
