Mr Christopher Grandville De Silva joined Turi Beach Resort, Batam as Director of Food & Beverage on
the L2th March 2013 after extensive work experience within the Asia Pacific region.
He is committed to his job taking great pride in the management of his department. He excelled in F&B
Marketing & Promotions plus Guest Relations being quality driven striking a balance between
profitability and products offerings.
Mr. De Silva is comfortable in understanding the elements of the Profit and Lost Statement and has
spent considerable amount of time coaching his kitchen and service teams to achieve and efficiently
manage its budget specially the Food & Beverage Cost achievin g a 3L% before his departure.
During his time, he and the Executive Chef successfully managed several large events in and out of the
resort despite the limited resources available at the time.
He leaves us at the end of September 2013 of
offering greater long term prospects. We would
