Following severe cloudbursts in Leh, India, CDRN coordinated the distribution of vital supplies such as food, blankets, and water purification tablets to impacted villages. The organization collaborates with numerous partners to mobilize aid efficiently, ensuring that resources reach those in need promptly.

2. Leh Cloudburst on the 6 th of August lasted One Hour 1:20 a.m. to 2:20 a.m. C D R N

3. A Cloudburst is a sudden downpour within a radius of few kilometres. It usually lasts no longer than few minutes but is capable of flooding the area. Rainfall from a cloudburst is usually over 100 mm per hour . Cloudbursts descend from very high clouds, sometimes with tops above 15 kilometers. Rapid precipitation is possible due to large droplets growing rapidly by coagulating with smaller droplets, which normally fall down slowly. In one of India's worst cloudbursts on 26 July 2005, Mumbai was completely paralysed. Approximately 950 mm of rainfall was recorded in India's financial capital over a span of eight to ten hours. On September 15, 2010 Cloudbursts in Almora in UTTARAKHAND has drowned away two villages one of them being Balta, leaving a few people alive and rest entire village dead and drowned.
