The Nawasonah training program in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, from March 14-19, 2008, focused on the integration of mind, body, and spirit, empowering women with healing arts skills to start their own businesses. Students participated in hands-on experiences, including a wellness fair, while the program emphasized community involvement and nutrition. The initiative, led by Cree elder Janet Stafford, aims to foster personal growth and healing through a holistic approach.
