A second document provides instructions for releasing pressure from the hydraulic system before disassembly, including moving components and removing filler caps. A third document outlines 14 steps to disassemble a torque converter, including removing housing, rings, plates and discs.
The document provides instructions for disassembling and assembling the torque converter of a 730C articulated truck. It describes 18 steps to disassemble the torque converter by removing housing assemblies, bearings, plates, discs, seals, and other components. It then describes 13 steps to assemble the torque converter by installing these same components in the reverse order, taking care to keep parts clean and follow procedures carefully due to parts that are spring loaded. Special tools are required for many steps, and safety precautions are provided.
This document provides assembly instructions for a torque converter in a 730 articulated truck. It lists 43 steps to assemble the torque converter components in the proper order, attaching seals, bearings, housings and other parts. It also provides illustrations matching each step. The final steps are to connect the assembled torque converter to the planetary transmission and lists the starting steps to remove the torque converter housing.
