3. The Client
The client is a global pioneer and one of the largest IT companies
in the world. With broad specializations in cloud engineered
systems, database management, and enterprise solutions, the
company is renowned for its solutions in enterprise resource
management, customer relationship management (CRM), and
supply chain management.
The Brief
The client required strategic support in its content marketing
dimension of a complex account-based marketing (ABM)
initiative. The key requirement included the creation of a
comprehensive coffee table book (CTB), microsite, and video to
commemorate 25 years of customer partnership with a leading
private banking institution.
4. The Goal
To support, develop and execute the content marketing dimensions of the ABM program in
alignment with broader marketing plans. This included assessing and transforming vast quantities
primary, secondary, and public domain information into marketing assets that celebrated the
history of the customer partnership. This research needed to be shaped into optimal structures for
the microsite and CTB while including value-based messaging, milestones, case studies, impact
studies, CXO messaging, and testimonial videos.
5. The Challenge
The initial plans for this project fell victim to the COVID
pandemic, requiring a drastic change in team collaborations,
data curation, research, and client interactions. As a
landmark, big-rock asset – the CTB and video needed to be
produced within remote working conditions, with indirect and
intermittent contributions from the client team. Furthermore,
the gathering of information for this ask was highly
fragmented and scattered across multiple functional units at
both the client and their partners end. Netscribes needed to
be prepared for a complex development and approval cycle
due to various stakeholder dependencies that could lead to
potential delays. Simultaneously, the task of creating a video
asset needed to be reimagined in order to conform to new
ways of working where in-person interviews and interactions
were no longer possible.
6. The Solution
Netscribes designed a development process
and procedure built on close collaboration with
the client and partner teams. Building an
intimate working relationship helped us
transcend communication barriers and
streamline the flow of raw information. We
worked with the client to develop the necessary
narrative and approach for their assets so as to
optimize the feedback cycle for expeditious
approvals. We worked closely with multiple
CXOs to acquire their insights and directions
that were deployed for both the CTB and the
video production with minimal redundancies.
Our team produced was able to produce a
comprehensive 17-min video asset, within a
3-day turn around cycle as per changing client
timelines, despite obvious limitations.
Ultimately, we delivered a polished CTB asset,
microsite, and video product within the desired
timelines and within the required scope.
7. Value Delivered
The client was able to successfully meet their ABM project goals and ensure the timely
celebration of their landmark moment while also achieving their marketing objectives. The
client appreciated Netscribes effort, granting it a 5-star CRM review, and continuing to
engage us for multiple ABM projects with their other partners which included major private
banks, leading industrial conglomerate, and multinational corporations.
