This document provides instructions for carving a pumpkin. It explains that you should cut a hole in the top of the pumpkin for the stem, scoop out the guts, then draw eyes, a nose, and mouth on the pumpkin. 2. Our class did something
very exciting . We carved
a pumpkin for fun.
Carving a pumpkin is
fantastic.

3. Now get the pumpkin ready. Cut
the pumpkin with a sharp knife, and
cut a hole as huge as a baseball at
the top of the pumpkin around the
stem. Then pull on the stem and the
top should come off. Here comes the
fun part. Now get a spoon gigantic
enough to fit in the hole. If the spoon
does not work use your hand. Scoop
out all of the guts and put them in
the trash. Now you might need to
wash your hands.

4. Now we are drawing the
face. Now draw two eyes as
huge as two inches at the top
of the pumpkin. Make sure the
eyes are circles. Now draw a
triangle nose one inch long in
the middle of the pumpkin. You
need to draw the mouth three
inches long. The mouth should
look like a banana.

5. Now you need to cut on the
lines to cut out the eyes ,nose
and mouth with a knife. Do not
cut your self. Cut on the lines
because if you do not you will
have to start all over. When you
cut out the eyes ,nose and mouth
throw them away.

6. Our class created a jack o’ lantern it
was amazing! We think you should do it
too. We had a lot fun. Carving a pumpkin
