internship in your company.
Mr. Gregorio has attended and passed several subjects related with Manufacturing Processes
and Strategies, showing in both of them high interest, curiosity and performance. After passing
those subjects, Mr. Mendoza is supposed to have wide knowledge of Manufacturing Processes
used today, such as:
• Forging
• Machining
• Assembly Strategies
• Manufacturing of Composite Materials
• Welding
• Chemical and Electrochemical Machining
• Manufacturing Processes using Metal Sheet
• Surface Treatments
• Metal Casting
In the subjects mentioned, theoretical background is as important as practical training.
Several tasks assigned to Gregorio involved an intensive use of Computer‐Aid Design Software
(Siemens Solid Edge ST3), in order to produce manufacturing work instructions and drawings for
several applications.
Being able to work in team properly is very important when carrying out the projects
assigned in the practical training of these subjects (concretely Manufacturing Processes I1 and
Manufacturing Processes II2). We always encourage every student to develop and improve his or
her interpersonal skills and to be a better team player, which undoubtedly will help the student to
perform more productively in a work environment.
For the reasons exposed above I certainly believe that Mr. Mendoza is a good candidate to
make a career in Manufacturing Engineering.

To Whom It May Concern:
Gregorio Mendoza worked as a volunteer under my supervision doing some
tasks related to some researches about Number Theory and Complex Systems in 2008,
and he did a course about that with us. His responsibilities in the tasks which we offered
him mainly included FORTRAN 77/95 and C code analysis and programming, in
addition to make certain conclusions with the results. During the time he worked with
us, Gregorio proved himself to be an able employee, a hard worker, and a talented
researcher.
I was quite impressed by his ability to complete all work assigned to him on
time, if not before it was due. His solutions and conclusions were both always thorough
and comprehensive, and his fact checking was always accurate.
Overall, Gregorio is a very conscientious and able person. I certainly believe he
has what it takes to make a wonderful professional of engineering someday, and I am
sad to see him leave. I strongly recommend Gregorio for any position as trainee or
engineer for your firm.
