Carrie Ryan received a letter thanking her for her contributions to the success of Sandia National Laboratories' Photovoltaic Regional Test Centers (RTCs) project. The RTCs, located in five states, conduct long-term experiments on solar panel performance and reliability, providing valuable data and insights to US solar companies. Carrie's administrative support and customer service have helped make the RTCs project a success despite changing conditions in the industry and evolving business plans over the past year. Sandia's RTCs are strategically important as they brief high-level government officials on energy issues.

instrumental in our success. Your willingness to provide superb customer service in an ever-
changing environment is appreciated. You have helped make the RTCs a successful project.
Sandia’s RTCs promise to have a significant positive impact on the US solar industry, offering
partnered multi-climate research on system performance and reliability with high data quality. The
RTCs exist in New Mexico (at Sandia), Florida, Nevada, Vermont, and Colorado. In conducting
long-term experiments at the RTCs, US companies are excited to have access to the world class
research and analytical capabilities for which Sandia is well known. Because of the high visibility of
this project – the Secretary of Energy, as well as US Senators, Congresspersons, and state governors
all receive briefs – the RTCs are strategically very important for Sandia’s energy programs.
Again, thank you for your help with this project. This past year has been one of significant change
and progress in the RTCs, due to a changing industry and an evolving business plan. The progress
and impact we’ve made has been thanks to a large team of dedicated individuals who have all gone
out of their way to help keep things moving along. You are an important contributor to this team.
