rather career is just a essential component in one’s Life.
Our life should be centered in Christ and our purpose of life should be loving God and lead others to his love.

• A constant prayerful discernment is required for choosing the most appropriate career/job
options available with a reasonably longer time span.
• One needs to understand at which stage he/she is in terms of planning a career option

Student : Investment Decisions to be considered by parents for children after High School
1) Courses for Higher Education should be selected not only by
the marks obtained in High School, but interest of the
student to pursue it.
2) The selected course should lead to a career with a validity
time span of minimum 7-12 yrs.
3) The selected course should be unique and in demand for the
next 10-12 yrs.
4) Monthly expense of higher education should not exceed 30
% of monthly income of parents. (Max Tenure 1-4 yrs )
5) Parents should encourage their children to take a small loan
not exceeding 5 – 10 per cent of the total Fees, so that they
too participate in their investment decision.
6) Parents should encourage children to strive for scholarship.
7) Children should also explore approved digital courses which
is cost friendly and helpful in the job market.

8. Our life is centered towards our saviour’s mission which is salvation for
all mankind
• God wants us to have a focus on Him and His mission,
not to somehow think that life is all about me
• Sometimes when we deviate from his original plan then we
are reconnected to his plan through various experiences in
life
• God has made people through various occupations to serve
his purpose
• Life of Joseph in old testament shows a dynamic occupation
change as a slave, servant, administrator, interpreter in
prison and finally to king’s palace was to serve the needs of
God’s people.
• This points to the life of our master Jesus who began his life
as a humble carpenter, then a miracle healer, preacher and
finally as our saviour. He lived his life in perfection to God’s
plan and although he is God , he lived his life giving an
example to each of us to continue his mission
Occupation never became an obstacle to their life rather it
met their need during the divine plan for each of them
