Cardiogenic shock is a life-threatening condition where the heart is unable to pump enough blood to meet the body's needs, usually due to a severe heart attack. It occurs when the heart suddenly becomes unable to pump enough blood to supply the body's vital organs with adequate blood flow and oxygen. Symptoms include pale or blue-tinged skin, dizziness, fatigue, shortness of breath, and chest pain.
