Brief Synopsis of the project
Job satisfaction continues to pose one of the greatest challenges facing organizations and
managers today with the loss of valuable talent incurring heavy costs to the organization in
terms of institutional know-how as well as the time, money, and efforts needed to recruit and
train replacements. To attract employees and for bringing innovation to try in terms of retaining
employees in the company the companies must work on generating new ideas and coping with
the existing issue to be able to be the best organization that is employee focused rather than task
or work. Employee retention strategies are becoming a major concern since it involves how to
keep and sustain human capital. Employee retention affects on job satisfaction in an
organization's performance, productivity, culture, profitability, and customer satisfaction in
positive and negative ways. While the high costs of turnover make retention essential for an
organization's future success, retaining the wrong employees can hinder success.
This study discusses retention strategies in more detail, especially how psychological job
security, economic job security, affiliation, and self-actualization affect the identification the
employee retention strategies on job satisfaction in business organizations.
Therefore, it would be useful to investigate factors that significantly influence employee
retention. The purpose of this research is thus to observe and identify the employee retention
strategies for job satisfaction. The findings of this study will help determine the key elements
that lead to employee retention on job satisfaction in business organizations.

Title of the project - A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY ABOUT THE IMPACT OF
EMPLOYEE RETENTION STRATEGIES ON JOB SATISFACTION ACROSS BUSINESS
ORGANIZATIONS.
Project Synopsis – Employee retention is the most critical issue facing corporate leaders
because of the shortage of skilled labor, economic growth, and employee turnover. Retention is
defined as “the ability to hold onto those employees you want to keep, for longer than your
competitor.
Providing a prolific, flexible, and dynamic work environment can be a critical asset in attracting
and retaining valuable employees. To develop an effective retention plan for today’s employment
market, it is vital to realize the varying needs and expectations. If the retention strategies are not
properly embedded in the business processes, all efforts since recruitment will ultimately prove
futile.
For organizations to keep up with their competitors and guarantee the growth of their businesses,
such strategies must effectively ensure employee satisfaction, enhance employee performance,
and ultimately safeguard against high turnover.
This research will provide guidance to business organizations. This will help the organizations
to create a more employee-oriented and valued culture to help them in retaining the employees.
With the implementation of these in the organizations they will be able to retain the employees
and ultimately be benefited from it for a longer period with more commitment and success these
organizations will flourish and create a culture of diversity, challenges, and value for every
individual.
Purpose / Focus of the study – The main purpose of the study is to list down the
various factors which have an impact on employee retention strategies on Job
satisfaction across business organizations. I will use the Motivation hygiene theory i.e.,
Motivators and hygiene. Motivational factors include job success, recognition, challenging
work, and employment growth. In comparison, hygiene factors include salary, personal life,
quality of supervision of working conditions, job security, etc. The study will help the
organizations understand which factors are generally important to retain employees and
which have an impact on the performance of business organizations. In addition, it aims to
have conclusive recommendations for further study as well.
Statement of objective –
 To find the impact of employee retention strategies on job satisfaction
among employees across business organizations.
Methodology & Sources of Information – I will use the Factor Analysis
tool to find out the relationship between the various factors which impact employee
retention strategies on job satisfaction across business organizations.
o Type of Research –Quantitative Research (Survey)
o Nature of Data – Primary Data
o Method of Data collection – Questionnaire Method
o Sources of Data – Collect Real-time data through questionnaires and analyze the data
collected from the questionnaires.
Expected Outcome – The report will have an overview of the various factors
affecting employee retention on job satisfaction across business organizations. The factors
and key variables of the research would lead to reflecting how they influence employee
retention that is how much impact they have on retaining the employees which ultimately will
have an impact on the organization’s performance. The focus (scope) of this research will be
on Business organizations. The report will have further conclusive recommendations for
business organizations to plan an effective retention procedure.
