The Bison men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Capital Invitational, with the women finishing fifth out of 11 teams and the men tying for fourth out of 10 teams. Senior Desiree Finley had two first place finishes, winning the pole vault and being part of the winning 4x400 relay team. For the men, freshman Arkangelo James won the 800 meter run and placed second in the 400 meter run, while the 4x400 relay team took third place. Several other athletes earned top finishes in field events.
