This document outlines the canonical divisions of the Hebrew Bible (HB) and Old Testament (OT) according to Jewish, Roman Catholic, and Protestant traditions. The Jewish HB is divided into three sections - the Torah (Pentateuch), Nebi'im (Prophets), and Kethubim (Writings). The Roman Catholic and Protestant OTs have similar divisions and books, with some variations in ordering and additional books in the Catholic version. All three traditions largely agree on the division of the OT/HB into Law, Prophets, and Writings.
