To Whom It MFy Concern:
-I-am
writing this referenc-e leffer in regards to Tony Tang. Tony came to The Canadian
Hearing Society in. Ju.ne-2009 lookinito find votunteer-work with our organization, Iwas very impressed rvith his mah.rre demeanor and willingness to get involvel,
The first event he assisted us with was our annual Golf Tournament at the silent auction
table'
-
It was very chaotic, but Tony managed to remain calm and assist the patrgns.
Jony ha.s also helped with our front desk riception in anslvering our phone and TTy
lines and greeting clients in a very friendly and efficient manner.
One siruation that stands out in my mind is when he came in to help prepare materials for
our American Sign Language classes. He was only able to help ior a'strort time, as he
was scheduled to work at his regular job. His employers neglected to tell him that the
schedule had changed, and therefore he was not needed. ge called us right away to let us
know he w'ould be coming back to finish his work with us. We reall"y upp..fiut*d hi,
commitment and work ethic.
I would recommend Tony to anyone considering hiring him for a job or other volunteer
placernent.
