Instructions
This is a funny fill-in-the-blank letter. It takes two people to fill
in the letter. You’ll have as much fun “writing” this letter as
your camper will have reading it!
Here’s how it works: First, print out the next page. Then,
without showing another person the letter, ask them for words
like “animal” or “place” and write the words in the blank spaces
provided. Fill in all of the blanks and you’ll have a funny letter
to send your camper.

Wake Up!
As we always say, it’s a lot more fun to be at camp than to be at home.
But all sorts of crazy things happened here this week!
Yesterday it rained (animal) s and (animal) s.
With so much rain, it didn’t look like we’d be able to play
(favorite sport) outside. So instead we just sat at
(place) and spent a little time
(indoor activity) .
It looked like it was going to be OK until (person) came over to
say that their car was stuck in the (something messy) .
Of course we went outside and tried to remove it from the
(something outdoors) but it just wouldn’t

I was not (an emotion) at all but then I started
to (verb) . That’s when (person) came over
to ask what was wrong. I started to spin around faster and faster.
What was happening? Suddenly I heard my alarm clock ringing and I woke
up to a sunny day. It was all a dream!
