game releases.Well ladiesandgentlementodayourreviewisona game that releaseseverysingle
year,withoutfail since the startof civilisation(slightexaggeration).Call of DutyBlackOps3 has
come to townand nowcomesthe everbeckoningquestion.Hasmuchreallychangedorhas too
much changed?Have Treyarchmanagedto pull anotherglowinggemfromacave minedfortoo
long.Well the simple answerisyes...andno.
Gameplay:
Let's face it,war neverchanges.Sure the locationsandthe opposingforceschange andwhothey
chose to alignthemselveswith.In thatrespectBlackOps3 can be consideredarealisticcombat
simulationtoanextent.LastyearSledgehammerintroducedsome bigchangestoboththe
mechanicsinsingle,multilayerandzombies.Obviouslyremovingdouble jumpsandotherfuturistic

2. Manageable andsimplisticwithagoal to survive.Perfection.Shadowsof Evil overcomplicates
everything.UsingaDemonMode to grapple aroundthe map andactivate the powerisprettycool
and there isa lot to doin the map butthenmy heartwondersbackto transit.To that cabin inthe
woodswiththe Bowie knife.Ijustcouldn’tgetsuckedin.Againanindividualexperiencebutrelevant
none the less.
Campaignmode….where tobegin.AdvancedWarfare hada greatsingle playerexperience with
Kevinspaceyleadingthe waywithexcellentactingchopsanda story that wasengagingand
interesting.Thisyeardoesn’thave anengagingcampaign. It’sdumbeddowntoinclude the factit
can be playedin4 playeronline cooperativeoroffline splitscreen.The voice actingishammyatthe
bestand the leadcharacter isannoyingandsoundpretentious.Itplayslike anystandardshooter

youare insane andwant to try the game on the new Realismdifficulty.One hitandthat’sitand it

Graphics:
Graphicallythe game looksquite well.There isanobviousdifference betweenthe single player
experience polishandthe onlinecomponents.The Xbox One versionsrunsat900p whereas the PS4
versionrunsat full 1080p. Having playedabitof boththe difference ishardtospoton sub 42 inch
displays.Of course if youare on PC and the rigcan run itthen4k isa veryviable optionwhilealso
beingquite pleasingonthe eyes.The trouble withCallof Dutygamesisthe engine neverreally
changesand the improvementsvisuallywhile beingevidentare sometimesverysmall.
Sound:
Bang bang,pewpewpew…ohsorryI was imitatingthe soundsinsteadof talkingaboutthemagain
wasn’tI? The soundtrackfor the game isn’treallyanythingamazing.The menumusicis nowhereas
catchy as Black Ops1 Zombiesmode whichisstuckinmyheadas I write this.But the gunssound
goodand the tonalityof the single playeriswell matchedbythe accompaniment.The voice actingis
shockingasI mentionedearlier.The announcerisstill beinghisawesomeself butstillmilesaway
from“FinishHim”and “Juggernaut”if youget mydrift.
Value:
You do gaina lot of value foryour money.Three verydistinctmodeseachwiththeirownsetof
parameterswith unlockables andmanyhourstobe spentineachdependingonwhichmoodyouare
feelingthe mostbeforeyoucommence playing.Comparedtoothergamesitholdsupwell value
wise butfor the same moneyorlessat thisstage gameslike The Witcher3 couldbe purchased
whichwouldcontainalot more content.Overall BlackOps3 is goodvalue andfor the price youare
gettinga lot.Of course a seasonpasswill be requiredforextracontentand Nuketownisonly
available incertainareasonpre ordersfor a limitedtime.

3. Conclusion:
Most of the internetgarnisheshate forthe Call of Dutyseries.Maybe some of thathate is justified
but more oftenthannot itis basedonotherentriesinthe serieswhichdidn’tworkandwhenthey
triedsomethingnewlastyear,notmanypeople gave it afairgo. The multiplayerisfranticthisyear
and hasn’tbeingaspolishedandrefinedinawhile.The zombie modeisfunalbeitalittle bitover
complicate attimes.Butheysome people likeitthatwayand it will pleasemanyafan.The
campaignisa letdownbasedonlast yearsandserieshighslike ModernWarfare 2 butit ismeantto
be enjoyedwithfriendsratherthansolo.
WouldI buythe game againyou ask?More than likelywhensome more contentreleasesandof
course if theybringback some classiczombieswhoamI to refuse.
