1. Calibration Curve Paragraph<br />In this lab we made several processes to complete a final objective which was creating a calibration curve. In this case the calibration curve was about the absorbance of a solution. First we had to create a primary solution as a source where several dilutions would be created. We used 2mL of potassium permanganate, KMnO4, as the solute and 100mL of water, H2O, as the solvent. Then the dissolutions were made and put in a spectrophotometer to measure the absorbance. The curve resulted that as the concentration of the dissolutions increased so did the absorbance. <br />
