Calculus
• Calculus, originally called infinitesimal calculus or "the calculus of
infinitesimals", is the mathematical study of continuous change
Function
• A function is a rule or correspondence which associates to each
number x in a set A a unique number f(x) in a set B
• In Abstract term function is something that will take an input and it
will do something in that input and based on an input it will produce
a given output.
Example of function
f(x) ={x2 if x is even / x+5 if x is odd}
• h(a) = the next largest number that starts with the same letter as var
a
• Example h(2)=
• Example h(8)=
Example
• y=f(x)=x+1
Limit
• f(x)=x-1/x-1
