Repurposing a pizza box into a collage picture frame.

1. Steps for Caitlin’s Pizza Box
Frame
You need to follow steps 1-4 in here, even if you’re doing
Jessica’s frame!

2. Step One:
Order a pizza!

3. Step Two:
Measure out the size you
want for your frame.
**Note: We managed to
make two frames using
one pizza box lid.

4. Step Three:
Cut on the lines you drew
when you measured the lid.
**Note: Save a little extra if
you want a stand.

5. Step Four:
Now you should have the
base of your frame cut out.
**Note: We have two because
we did two frames.

6. Step Five:
Draw a line that is at
about the 2/3rd mark of
your piece. Cut cleanly
along the line so you can
use it later.

7. Step Six:
Cut out the center of
your bigger piece. Leave
space around the edge
for a border.

8. Step Seven:
Select your paint colors
and add them to a
palette.

9. Step Eight:
Grab your
paintbrushes and
begin painting!

10. Step Nine:
Paint both sides of every
piece. Including the 1/3rd
piece we put aside earlier.

11. Step Ten:
While your pieces are
drying, select the pictures
you want to use.

12. Step Eleven:
Cut and trim the photos
you are planning to use
for your collage.

13. Step Twelve:
Glue your photos to the front
of your back piece (the 1/3rd
piece). Try to overlap some
of the photos to give it a
collage look.

14. Step Thirteen:
Cover most of the back
piece to create the best
collage look!

15. Step Fourteen:
Line the back up into the
center of the front piece.
Then use hot glue to
attach the two pieces
together.

16. Step Fifteen:
Attach the stand piece to
the back using hot glue.
**Note: Skip this step if
you’re not using a stand.

17. Step Sixteen:
Your frame is complete!
You can add some more
detail to the border if
you want. The next slide
has some ideas!

18. Step Seventeen:
Add some pictures to the
border (like I did), or you
could add some writing
about your friendship.
