determine a patient’s erythrocyte sedimentation rate
(ESR).
An innovative testing instrument, the ESR Stat Plus offers
several features that make it more efficient than the
traditional SediPlast Westergren method. The benefits

1. Time savings. The device can produce 3 ESR results
within five minutes, compared to the Westergren method,
which generally takes one hour.
