 Christmas has been celebrated in England for over a
  thousand years.
 But what makes Christmas so special are the traditions
  using calendars, sending Christmas card, listening to
  Christmas music and carols, and decorating all of the
  streets and the trees .
 In England the traditional
  Christmas dinner is a roast
  turkey with vegetables and
  sauces.
 Mince Pie is a small British sweet
  pie that it have been known to
  the English cook since the
  Middle Ages and have played a
  part in the Christmas festivities
  since then.
 A Christmas Cracker is a coloured
paper tube, twisted at both ends.
 A person pulls on each end of the cracker and when
  the cracker breaks contents fall out.
 Father Christmas is our version of Santa Claus. He
  is an old jolly man with white hair, a long beard and a
  moustache. He is dressed in a red suit outlined in
  white.
 Father Christmas and his elves make all the toys for
  Christmas in the North Pole.
 Christmas Eve (December 24) is traditionally the day
  for decorating churches and homes.
 Christmas Day is the favorite day for children. They
  wake up very early in the morning to find their
  presents.
